This lovely Hampstead Heath apartment was a carefully considered downsizing project for a long-standing client. Moving from a four-storey townhouse, every inch of the new space needed to work hard while preserving the essence of her former home. Key pieces were ring-fenced and thoughtfully placed, with a focus on creating openness through clever spatial planning, raised ceilings, mirrors, and a refined lighting scheme.

Inspiration for the project was drawn from the beautiful trees that surround the apartment - most notably reflected in the green palette chosen for the main reception room. This subtle yet grounding choice brings a serene indoor/outdoor feeling to the space, connecting the interior with its lush surroundings.

Storage was maximised, servicing condensed, and proportions rebalanced to bring comfort and flow. The project was brought to life in collaboration with our trusted partners, including Shape Architects and lighting designer Lucy Martin.
